About

The Legends League was founded by Dirk (Skim) and Ryan (Kamikazeee) who are taking on the difficult challenge of getting the SA Dota 2 community together to compete at a higher level of match making and ultimately add to the growth of Esports in South Africa.

Our official ZA Legends guild members and many others have since been assisting behind the scenes to contribute to the planning and brand exposure with the same long term goal of making our mark in the Dota 2 SA community. Thank you all!

We created the legends league with the vision of becoming a well established Dota 2 tournament organiser for amateur and semi-professional while helping to add to the growth of Esports in South Africa.

Our mission for the short term is to establish a monthly Dota 2 tournament for 64 amateur teams to compete for cash prizes while improving their game individually and as a team by playing at a more competitive match making level.

Our target is to contribute 90% of all entry fees directly into the prize pool while allowing for 10% to be used to cover the costs of expanding this project.

For more information regarding the monthly tournaments please contact us or visit our facebook page.

We have also created an Instagram page and twitter page which we will be continuously updating with Dota 2 content and latest news relating to the tournament. You can also refer to the events page for more details of current events we are hosting.

The league will be registered with Dota 2 and linked to Dota Buff.

Viewers can stream through our twitch channel or directly in the league pages within the Dota 2 game, be sure to visit our events page for more details!
